I am proud to say that I was born and raised right here in Whatcom County.  I am married to my husband Gary who is a retired Sr. Chief  with the US Navy.  Being retired Gary is often seen helping me with my business.

 I started at a young age of 13 house and pet sitting for various friends and family and for their family and friends and  continued to do so through the years.  In 2000 I was asked by a local pet care provider to be her back up sitter.  Knowing that I loved what I was doing I decided to go off on my own and create a business that is now known as Pet Sitting with Love by Tara.

Having over 20 years experience allows me to  serve my clients with the best care possible. I enjoy learning new  ways to care for your pets which allows me to provide even greater services.
